Activities

For the Wednesday afternoon during the STC, there are three options for pre-planned activities. To help you decide, the activities are presented here. In addition to the pre-organized activities, it is of course also possible to organize yourself. Examples are the Natural History Museum or the “Wasserwelt“ swimming area.

The prices are not included in the conference fee.

Bouldering

Bouldering is a form of free sports climbing. The climbing walls are only up to 4 m high and mats on the floor prevent injuries here. The Greifhaus is an indoor bouldering spot where you can boulder on five skill levels. There will be an experienced climbing trainer who will give you a safety introduction at the beginning and will answer any questions. This activity will start at 2:30 p.m. and we recommend bringing sports clothing for this activity. The Greifhaus is located at the Hamburger Straße 268 in 38114 Braunschweig.

From the university, you can get to the Greifhaus by taking train number 1,2, or 10 to “Ludwigsstraße“ or take bus number 429 or 433 to “Hamburger Straße“. It takes 20 minutes to walk from the university to Greifhaus.
